About Us
Nallur Siva Temple is known as one of the oldest temples in North Kerala and in Kerala in general, the Shiva Lingam at the Nallur Shiva Temple is estimated to be around 1500 years old. The Nallur Shiva Temple is said to be the only Shiva temple in the world to have a rectangular Shiva idol on its back. Nallur Shiva Temple features a beautiful two and a half acre pond in front of the temple which is spread over an area of four and a half acres. Nallur Shiva Temple is famous for its Shivratri festival celebrations.
